Hinduism, one of the oldest and largest religions with over a billion followers, has influenced cultures and traditions worldwide. However, in recent years, Hinduism has faced some difficulties that have affected its strength and vitality.
हिंदू धर्म दुनिया के सबसे पुराने और बड़े धर्मों में से एक है, जिसके अधिकांश अनुयायी भारत में होते हैं। हिंदू धर्म ने विश्वभर की संस्कृतियों और परंपराओं पर अपना प्रभाव डाला है। हालांकि, हाल के वर्षों में, हिंदू धर्म को कुछ कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा है जो इसकी ताकत और जीवंतता पर असर डाल रही हैं।
One of the main challenges is the lower fertility rates among Hindus. Studies by Pew Research Center indicate that Hindus have fewer children than before, which means that the Hindu population is not growing as fast as other groups. Consequently, the Hindu share of the world's population is expected to remain at around 15% in the coming decades.

According to some scholars, factors such as the end of kingdoms, state control of temples, the rise of secularism and socialism, and caste-based politics and violence have weakened the sense of unity and identity among Hindus. This has reduced their influence and representation in society.

Some Hindus have also voluntarily converted to other religions due to dissatisfaction with Hindu practices, beliefs, or social conditions. As a result, Hinduism has lost some of its followers and territory to other faiths.
